Scout Regiments Telescope MkIIs & carrier HCR & Son #18930- for No4T Sniper CES

Here we have a nice service used specimen of an mid production Scouts Regiments Telescope mkIIs made by HCR & Son - as used by signals, spotters, command and as specified by the famous Lee Enfield No4T Sniper Rifle Complete Equipment Schedule and Transit Chest contents list.
 
Still in its original stitched leather draw wraps (pre 1939) and carry case - showing stains, bruises and scratching from honest wear tear and storage.  The leather carrier needs all tabs reapplying (stitching) and a new leather carrier strap sourcing / making.
 
The telescope is in good working order with functioning sun-shade and eyepiece filtered lense which moves easily and positively.  The field of view is clear and focus is by varying the length for near infinite results at fixed 20 power magnification.  The telescope draws have lost almost all of their bluing which was to reduce reflections.
