Leather Carry Strap - Authentic - No8 Scope Tin to carry No32 Telescopic Sight

An authentic reproduction Leather Carry (Shoulder) Strap for the No8 Scope Tin (fits real and reproduction, square and round cornered designs).  The No32 Scope was intended to be carried and stored in the tin when not in use on the rifle.  The leather shoulder carry strap was the first isssue pattern and originals are very rare.  This reproduction is based surviving examples that show the use of two svived and stitch jointed strips to make the length.  All hand cut, finished and stitched in the USA.  Ideal for collectors, reenactors and display.  In practice, puttig the strap through all four cleats (on the back and sides) would limit the travel of the tin to open, so often only the rear cleats were used.
