1943 Windproof Trousers - Sold! $700 via Facebook Militaria Group.

A local collector sold their "camouflage pattern" material collection - among which were 2 examples of the British Windproof Trousers - as favored by Paratroops and other troop types. These are a lightweight man made fiber with waterproof coating - featuring the distinctive Denison "brush stroke" 2 color camouflage over the base green. These have a drawstring at the waist and buttoned leg cuff straps (to be worn over BD) as well as a left leg "Map pocket". These are a very large size 8 and smaller size 2 - ideal for display but still tough enough to ne worn. The label is distinctively on the back outer surface. A little fading and storage dust - one period repair each as shown.
